Toad is 50 now living in his new pad 9 years. Whilst time goes by at the pond and the animals by the pond come and go unfortunately one thing has stayed the same. I still gamble......looking to change this.

No gambling. If i can take a break to xmas is my first goal.

I am back again too after huge loss of money yesterday.I told myself that I won't bet a penny ever again and here I am.

23 thousand pounds gone yesterday.

Not even my money (borrowings)

Starting fresh from tomorrow.

Today is cool off period day 😃😃😃

At the end of the day it's only money until you got your health not much matters.

All is good by the pond. I am staying away from gambling and no urges today.

Day 1

Ended up in the devils playground my resistance was very low. I went into a bookies I was self excluded from and a new staff member did not know i was banned.

A few hundred pound down and then an outsider came to my rescue.

I was sweating and stressing. Spent 2 hours in bookies then back to work.

I really need to wise up.

Hello...it's not enough doing one stint of abstinence at a time it's a , case of realising that even returning after six months is just disastrous as I discovered..I imagine this addiction is similar to booze and drugs.but at least we are sharing our problems and hopefully one day we can be rid of this " treacherous serpent" that we allow into our lives and get some normality back...

Thank you for your post. I agree gambling is like a serpent , slippy and sly. I left gamcare thinking i was okay. I will never be okay by the pond if i continue to gamble and feeding this addiction

Tomorrow i am back to Day One 

I lost more money today went off the rails

Hello All,

I didn't last a day. Off his pad Toad behold, across the pond oh please don't scold.

Into the bookies i went with a bad of small change. 

I had very little thinking id spend the silver and bronze. I lost it all then went to ATM

Thankfully i left after winning a tidy sum.

Tomorrow is Day 1 i am not in town so safe

I am self excluded in home town.

I will dust myself down and try again tomorrow!
