Welcome to the Forum,

I can see how strongly you feel about this petition. However, people develop a gambling addiction for many individual reasons and unless they understand those and deal with them, the problem does not go away. For example an alcoholic may manage to stop drinking but could replace this addiction with gambling. This could happen when the individual has not dealt with the emotional reasons behind their addictive behaviour. Similarly, even if gambling did not exit, the individual with an addictive tendency would still find something to be addicted to. I would encourage you to take charge of the situation and contact us for support if you are struggling with a gambling problem. We are open from 8am until midnight, seven days a week.

hi heather , don,t think we going be able to get to the 10000, or 100000 stage though so it can be duscussed in depth by parliamment though but there was a eye opening documatary on main screen BBC last week thoughthat was very good which may though but the ££££ invoved in this industry is huge for the goverment

I have 6 months to get it, I am pestering everyone, even my customers at work, I am very determined about this, and yes you may be right, but I have a contact who is am mp so who knows no harm in trying, I agree a lot of the problem is the government will probably be out of pocket but they were forced to do something about smoking, maybe a lot of people think it is impossible so don't try, but if you don't try/ask you won't get 🙂

Facebook is probably the fastest way to get your campaign noticed (although can understand that you may not want friends to know you gamble).
