Hi there.

I have just read most of your thread and I just wanted to ask out of interest….. I have noticed a few times that you have clocked up a good amount of debt then in a short space of time, you have come back to say you have cleared all your debts.  Just wondering, have you cleared this debt through winning from gambling?

Many people have said to you on here, you are still so young and much younger than someone like me, who has a lot of debt to still pay off.  I realised a long time ago however, that trying to rush into paying this debt off, only gave me more anxiety and more reason to gamble further.  Which is what I would end up doing and then like you, lose it all, take out payday loans and then lose them too!  A vicious circle is what it is called.  I decided after some time that I would just keep telling myself, “slow and steady wins the race”. Now I have a long term commitment with Stepchange in place and as long as I know that each month, no matter how small, my debt is reducing and over the months/years, this is decreasing even further.

Please don’t give any more of your hard earned salary away to these extremely rich gambling establishments.

You can do this. You really can! Take care.

Pink Lady. 🩷🍎.
