Hello all...I have been struggling with gambling for 10yrs now and its starting to destroy my life...I love my family and i dont want them to suffer anymore...I am getting the support from my wife and am looking for support from you guys who are going through the same as me...Please help me beat this addiction...Don.

What gambling do you struggle with? Myself it was all online, started with poker but by far my biggest losses were sports betting. We all share the same troubles as yourself with regards to the fact we are compulsive gamblers who's lives have been affected by our addiction. We can't win because we can't stop. People will give their support and inputs along your journey if you continue to use this forum as part of your support network.
Don't be put off by people not flooding responses to you. There is a lot of good advice and help around this forum, take a look at all the posts on here and you will see people asking the same questions you might have. Use this forum to start a diary and just get your thoughts and feelings out, i found it helps and it gives reference points along the way.
As for the standard, proven, affective advice in practical terms Mixer made a great post that covers basically everything. Would highly recomend you read that as a starting point (linked below)
