Hello,

just to give you some understanding of where i've been in my life and where i am now. Roughly 2 years ago i went to uni, whilst i was there i obviously got my student loan. This was when my gambling was at it's biggest problem. One rainy night in, some how i managed to turn my student loan into £7,000. That's an amount of money i've never had and as am sure you can guess i didn't have it for long, a matter of a week later i was drunk sat in my flat and blew it all. That one night changed me as a person for the worst. It was online roulette that was my downfall.
I've made it my goal ever since to get that £7,000 back, to use it on something useful, a memory that i'd treasure or at least put the money away.. that one night changed me as a person, i wasn't happy anymore, i was short and snappy, it cost me my relationship ultimately also.
I'd say i've roughly got ВЈ5,000 at the minute, after my next pay i'll have roughly £6,300. That means by the end of November i will have back that money that i so stupidly wasted in one moment of madness. But this is where i need some help the most, i now more or less have the money back, how can i ensure what happened doesn't happen again? i want to cut out every possibility.. it's been a long two years and to finally feel as if i'm back where i started, it feels amazing. I'm thinking about going travelling in the next few months too, which is what i planned to do with it initially.
I don't think this is a cry for help but more an ask for guidance, in two months time i'll be able to say I DID IT. Knowing that i've worked so very hard to be able to get back to where i was, but ultimately in 2 months time i'll be able to say i made it.

thanks for taking time out to read this, would appreciate any replies people may have. i do tend to waffle on a bit so sorry if it's too long.

cheers,
Superstar1
