Awesome work Pages3! Did you think 18 days ago it’d be possible for you to have money and still not gamble for more than two weeks straight? Probably not! So definitely pat yourself on the back! & congrats on your new garden furniture. Can’t wait to see your 1 month GF post!

thanks Amanda, no I definitely did not think this would be possible 18 days ago, but I do feel the happiest I’ve felt in years. This site has been a massive source of support even if I’m just having a quick check in I have a quick read of the diaries each morning to keep me on the straight and narrow. Good luck to everyone today, now 19 days GF!xx

Hi, I've been reading these comments, I was in a similar situation . Husband knew I was online gambling but small amounts but I secretly have been getting carried away over the last 2 to 3 years. Yes I have blown a months wages in a night . I told him about my problem on Sunday 10th June and I havent gambled since . 16 days gamble free and I feel great . I havent missed the panic stricken feelings when I've lost or the guilt of wasting money. It's pay day today and it's good to feel that the money will still be in my account for the next few days until the bills are due. It's the best I've felt in a few years . I've been helped by reading the forums and to know that I'm not on my own is really helpful so Thank you to you all. Loved the quote about taking the wrong turn . I'm on the right path now. Life is better . 16 days now when I get to 50 days I'm treating myself to a day out shopping . I'm taking a new hobby to replace the gambling it's getting fit and living life not sitting around hour and hour waiting for that big win. Good luck everyone xx

Hi.

Well I never thought I would end up here. I have had problems with gambling now for approx 10 years. Some good days a lot bad.

I really dont know where to turn to now and feel like my whole life has fallen apart and I honestly dont enjoy living anymore.

I am happiest when asleep.

Sorry Im just at a really low point right now and it's a case of sink or swim. And right now, Im not a very good swimmer

Hi Danny, I really think you should seek help either a friend, doctor or call a helpline. I'm 16 days gf and it's a great feeling. You have made your first step by joining this site. There are lots of helpful comments and advice if you have a look through the forums. I wish you luck, don't let gambling ruin your life take control now . Good luck

Hi frank thanks for sharing it really does feel like there is hope out there for us. Danny please seek help, many of us can’t win this battle on our own, I can’t, and whilst I haven’t yet managed to speak out to my husband I’m taking great comfort and strength from the words of others on here. Just one day at a time that’s all it takes. Wishing you the best in this hard time of your life. I’m only 19 days GF but when I say only I feel that’s a massive achievement, something I couldn’t have dreamed of a month ago and it does get easier, I think about gambling less and less and they way I get through it? I think of how awful I feel when I’ve lost money, and the extra stress and lies, and how good I feel right now armed with a plan on where I want to get to xx
