Hi this is hard for me.Â
I am 25 and I have a real issue. I was doing so well before lockdown and never had a bet in 2 years. The last 3 months have been wild. I have lost over 10k. day trading ( gambling ). I chase stupid positions then try and recoup my losses.Â

I know the feeling. I have relapsed in Lockdown and lost a lot of money. It came out for me last weekend but I was found out and did not tell anyone.

I feel gutted for you my friend and I can guess how you feel today, it's alot of money to lose and I know myself as I was gamble free for over a year went on my email and had one from a gambling site, I thought go just have £10 no one will know well 1hr later I lost nearly £8000 I was and still am gutted the best of it was it was my partners PayPal. So now I've got her in so much debt down to my stupid gambling I hate the evil addiction not for me no more,I've put all the help in place and I'm going to beat this addiction if it kills me, each day as it comes and that's going to be me for the rest of my life as like yourself I'm so ashamed and I've really let my family down I've no way of getting that money but I need to sort something as it's not fair on my close familyÂ
I don't care now as anyone can know I just need to get help and sort my partners debt as if we do split up as I think it's on the cards I don't want to leave her in debt if I had just resisted that stupid email as you said I would give anything for the impossible to turn back the clock as I've always had a way out in the past but this time it hurts as I've left my loved ones with nothing what a waster I need my head sortedÂ
