Hi, I've just lost 30k from online roulette and feel really bad..the first time I lost the pain was bad..the last 10k lost then I felt no pain. I've now self excluded from the betting site.. it all started 3 weeks ago..was up 8 k then lost and then trying to chases my losses...taken out 25k in credit cards/loans (though I paid 4K off the mortgage). Thank god. Now it take me 4 years to pay everything off for 3 weeks of madness...not told anyone due to the shame..I will see the docs as also got mild OCD..need to stop thinking of gambking and got in with life...

Hi Raj,

well done for posting on here and well done for taking action.

If you haven't done so yet, it probably would be helpful to also talk to an adviser on the Helpline 0808 8020 133 or the Netline.

And of course, keep posting and also read other people's diaries on .

All the best,

Well done Raj you got to a week gamble free!

Last time is right even if it does take longer don't punish yourself by just thinking you have to put every penny to your debts. it's important that you treat yourself occasionally for your own sanity.

Keep going mate!

Hi mate, I know the feeling. Just 4 weeks ago, I lost 53k in one night. I was very close to taking out a loan for 25k although thank God I did not send them the details they requested. I hope you can put this behind you.

I lost about 7-8k in June. The pain is still very raw and the implications of the loss keep cropping up. But with the help of others I've found that if you keep taking positive steps, you can look back and say, wow that was a big lesson learned . I'm not choosing that short cut by gambling. work honestly and get in a position of happiness and content.
