Hi,

I'm new to this and was told it might help.
I've been gambling for just over a year now. I am now in 20 grand of debt. But I can't stop. I keep losing!
I've had to go on anti depressants, counselling, meant to be getting CBT but haven't heard anything for two months. I self-exclude and then just find another one and another!
I've tried giving my money to a family member, but I always find a way!!!
Its so stupid because i work in a bookies I know I will never win. I can't even explain why I do it. I won 4000 pounds once from putting 30 pound on roulette, I took it out but then an hour later cause I was bored I reversed it and lost the lot!!! Who does this!! I just don't know what else to do. Im sick of struggling month to month because I can't stop myself from doing it!

Hi thanks that's help a bit I'm interested in this cash only card I'll look into it. Does that mean my direct debits will still come out? Also can I pay things like phone bills over the phone? I will look into though? Think it would be a massive help if I had one!

#Justbelieve

You 100% can do this. Listen to the advice on here... Trust me we know what we are talking about! Put the blocks in place and have the willpower to abstain. Is it hard sometimes... Yes... But you can do it ! Read the diaries and when you feel an 'urge' read them again, they soon put things in perspective

Good luck on your journey... I truly hope you succeed

Thanks guys I'm going to do it!!!

I'm going to look into all of this.
Having read this forums and having you guys being supportive feels great.

Its funny how you can get support from people you don't even know, but my own mother basically disowned me cause she doesn't understand my problem. Wont talk to me nothing.

Thank you so much guys.
