Just posting, have just joined, a (hopeless) addict who is trying to get my act together after my life has been destroyed by online gambling. I have to say that GAMSTOP has been my lifeline, it started later than expected, and I nwas praying for the start date when I was gambling. I saw on the news today that 2 online banks have an app that bars people from gambling, hope all normal banks follow suit soon, I was aware that gambling transactions have a certain code (something like 991) and can easily be barred, these transactions are different to 'normal' purchases.
Getting my life together, paying back my debts that I have accumulated, probably doesn't sound much, but was over £20k, and had months where I could not get food, now down to £9k and have some funds available.

Lookinjg forward, I want to get my life back and enjoy it and actually buy things that I can appreciate, which seems to be what is going on now, hopefully when I am debt free, I will be able to do things like have a holiday and spend money on myself.
