Sometimes, spammers strike these Forums with fake topics. Lately, they've had a Korean origin. Just report them to Gamcare, they'll get rid of them as soon as. If Gamcare pre-moderated new topics before publishing, that might help, but it would mean new topics not appearing straight away. I guess it's all about striking a balance.

All spamming comments reported to Gamcare. Ignore 'em everyone 🙂

Everyday I've seen these. Reported and flagged in feedback. How do they get in? Security?

It's very irritating, I agree. I can only suspect that whoever it is keeps creating a topic and repeating.

Gamcare can do something about it; put all new topics into pre-moderation. Once approved, then comments can be made as usual.

I think it's a price worth paying to avoid this irritation.

I don’t think putting all new topics into moderation is a good idea. The majority of people that come here arrive broken & desperate...Having to jump through hoops (because of the odd spammer) may deter them!

I do take your point ODAAT; we don’t want a sledgehammer to crack the occasional nut. Hopefully the scammer(s) will ease off. They were a bit persistent earlier.
