Hi all, I registered with Gamcare over 2 years ago, hoping that would help in my recovery.
Unfortunately I have continued to gamble over that time, however, I have took the step of self-excluding from all bookmakers in my locality. My problem at the moment is that I am gambling online, not on a regular basis but I am having big-enough binges to put a big dent in my bank balance.
I am looking to save for a house over the coming year and gambling is holding me back from this.
I have now excluded from all of my active online gambling accounts and I am going to hand my bank card over to my girlfriend so that I can no longer register to gamble online.
I am determined this will be the end of my relationship with gambling. I will keep this diary entry updated daily, if possible, to track my progress.
