Hi I would like to share my abstinence and recovery. I have been attending GA coming up 5 years now it has honestly changed my life for the better the fellowship is absolutely incredible 4 hours out of my week to meet with members who understand the problem I have got and like minded people. I would spend hours and hours on gambling machines I have lost so much time in the past a few hours out of my week is nothing to share and hear other peoples strength and hope. My meetings have done so much for me GA has gone much further than helping me stop gambling it has improved my social skills and communicating with other people. Today I now have my freedom back I never thought I would see again finances repaired, relationships, credit scores no longer thinking about that next bet, no longer have that mad rush going on in my head who I owe money to or what lie I have told this time or how am I going to get out of this one this time. Today through regularly attending my meetings and working my programe I have a clear mind and much happier without gambling in my life I gave up one thing to have everything I ever wanted.
