Checking in 134 days gamble free - days really starting to add up now - - - but not getting complacent as know it can bite you on the nose as quick as lightning if you relax too much in false sense of cure.

Well done fellow comrades

Checking in - not sure if I did already last week, but I'm still going fine. Had some random thoughts about gambling this week - think it's this danger of letting your mood get down, but almost 5 months without gambling which is good.

Checking in on day 102 gamble free.
Feeling very low at the moment, lots going on family wise. Determined not to gamble as it would only make everything worse.

Will be away ion holiday for 2 weeks from Saturday afternoon so not sure if I'll be able to check in depends on Wi-Fi. If I can't I will still be gamble free if you can mark me in please Phil.

Stay strong everyone and remember that together we can do it!

Challenge Update Week 19

Intro

We head into this week 49 strong and with 7 missing soldiers. There was a problem with the site midweek so I hope everyone’s messages came through. It’s been a positive week, some of us are struggling but we are mostly staying strong and even when we slip we come back and start again. It’s good not to give up on giving up.

There was a post from Mo in the week about 4 months not being a milestone I have listed. To answer this I’m using the same milestones that were used in the 2014 challenge and if I was to add new ones then it would over complicate things.

Missing Soldiers

Promise, Freshman247, tt1980, scotty 1971, Lemon25, Garyl1976 and matty 21 you all missed check in, I hope you are all well and return this week. For any soldiers who need to contact me you can email me on [email protected] or use the group chatroom on a Wednesday night run by Sergeant Triangle.

Milestones In The Coming Week

paul1001 bring up his half century next Sunday, great start soldier!!

cloud and mrdaniel1 hit the century in the coming week, three figures is a huge achievement!!

LEST-WE-FORGET, sonic boom and Jm24 all hit 20 weeks clean this week, good stuff troops!!

Taxi man reaches 6 months without a bet on Friday, excellent stuff mate!!

John64 hits 350 days or 50 weeks next Friday, the year is so close now, huge congratulations!!

Summing Up

It’s been a quicker than usual update as my times been limited by longer than usual shifts in work and long stressful meetings. But remember if anyone has anything they would like to write for future updates or any articles they would like me to feature you can contact me by email and pass them on to me. So many of you are doing so well and as well as changing your lives you are also inspiring others, keep up the good work troops!

Hi all,

Sorry for missing last week...thought I had but no matter.

Still no thoughts or compulsions to gamble and life is going well at the moment. Still have money issues but at least they are going down and not up!

Take care everyone.
