Hi all would like to join the 2015 challenge.
A month gamble free now, ups and downs and regrets about money lost etc but its slowly coming back. Few big urges but resisted so far and hope to continue this streak of no gambling. Going to be a slow process but am determined and know the future will be much brighter gambling free, 10x better than my past.

Sorry for missing check in guys. If I'm honest I'm not on the site often anymore and checking in totally slipped my mind all week. Sorry for missing it phil know how hard you work on it
Apologies for the late update, didn't go home after work last night, will get it up before work today if I can get home in time, otherwise will be after work tonight.
No need to apologise Phil, you are doing a fantastic job keeping us all focused on this challenge thread.
Will check in now I am here on 343 days.
Suzanne xx
As suzzane says no need for apologies, it takes a lot to look after this challenge and there's bound to be the odd Sunday were you can't update for whatever reason but your doing a great job and I for one (of many) are reaping the rewards of your hard work. Thanks again and looking forward to the update.
Checking In - Day 298
Hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend.

Checking in on Day 44, sorry I am so late, was out and about for Easter. It was nice having an Easter where I didnt lose money on slots!
Before you update you better get me off the list for now. Had a relapse on Sunday night. Feel very ashamed of myself and very disappointed. Have promised myself I will restart. Well done everyone else.
Challenge Update Week 14
Intro
Firstly apologies for the late update, I feel really bad for letting everyone down. At the moment I have a lot going on in work and I have been more tired and stressed than usual. I also have started seeing someone and it’s putting more pressure on my time. I promise everyone that things will go back to usual this week. This weeks update will be much shorter than usual.
We head into the first check in of April with 58 troops and 6 missing soldiers. This week brings up the first 100 days of the challenge and we have a really strong group of soldiers marching together and making incredible progress. I’m proud of you all! Thanks for the feedback about finances, it’s been really useful and clearly it’s not just me who has issues with dealing with cash post gambling.
Missing Soldiers
Poblwc, ry4ncj, dot83, egfr, natangclan and newhorizon71 I hope you are all well and you are welcome to rejoin the challenge at any time.

Summing Up
Once again apologies for the late and shortened update. I promise this weeks will be back to normal. Stay strong troops, this Friday is day 100 of the challenge and you are all doing so well!!
Tnsk once you have made another post you will be added to the challenge, you need to check in with a count of days gamble free.
Poblwc so sorry to hear of your slip, try to learn from it and don't chase your losses, they are gone now, chasing will only lead to losing more. The challenge is open to you at anytime you wish to rejoin.
Phil no need to apologise. You are doing a great job. I think us soldiers need to step up and help you out. All Phil asks of us is that we check in once a week by a Saturday which is not such a difficult task to complete. When we were all gambling we did not think twice about giving up hours of our time to feed our addiction so 2 mintes a week to aid our recovery should be no problem. Once again Thanks for everything Phil and i know without your help i would have struggled to be this upbeat and positive 99 days in.
checking in on day 299, think this forum is absoulutely fantastic and i know this week will be tough for everyone on here but stay strong, remember i can not win because i can not stop
Affected by gambling?
