Good Morning

Well done to all still checking in. To those who've had a slip, don't give up. Reassess your reasons ...and carry on quitting. It's easy to think oh I'll go back to gambling for a bit. But the financial consequences of that line of thinking can be hard to bear. I went back to gambling earlier this year and found it hard to refocus on the reasons I had quit in the first place. It took me getting into more debt and the possibility of forfeiting holidays with my kids to see the light again. Once we are back on track ... We realise this is a much healthier wealthier and happier place to be.

Checking in today on day 77!

Congrats to the 21 who have checked in and welcome back to Bjornpogi and TheGerman after their slips. I appluad your honesty and bravery in coming back. A lot of people don't.

Some big milestones reached this week - GladsDad (600 days), Daz71 (100 days), 8thOct (100 days), LifeBegins & UncerctainOutcomes (both 1 month). Great stuff guys.

Some quick stats - our combined tally is now 5563 days (about 15 and a quarter years). Imagine how much dough is being kept out of the bookies till!

Thanks for the update and the shout out. It feels good hitting the 100 days now I'm just focusing on keeping going until my daughters born. Once she's born I hope she will be my motivation to stay stopped, won't be easy I'm sure they'll be a lot of pressure (especially financially) but that's why I can't add any further pressure by gambling.

Checking in on day 12. My partner has started quizzing me on money. Im a bit in debt at moment and need to get a grip. My slip week before last has put me in a fire money situation til end of month. I am coping and hoping for some Busines in the next few days to tie me over. Stay safe everyone!
