Welcome to the gang! Well done on a week, the hardest days are yet to come so stick with it. By christmas you'll have 9 months under your belt and that will be something to celebrate 🙂

Hi guys. Just checking in with 19 days not out. My motivation is still that the addiction is like heroin. Would I take heroin? Then why would I gamble.

A side note for you all is I've noticed a lot of gambling adverts on Facebook lately maybe you have the same ? Looking into it I found a way to stop them appearing on your wall . Firstly you need to change your age if you change your birth year as far back as you can go then change your current city to Dubai you no longer are in what the ad campaigns target area are looking for , hope it helps because it's annoying as sh@t when every 3 posts is a slot bonus of some kind

Cheers for the info Deano it is frustrating the only gambling things I look are non gambling lol but the still cone through.

Just another milestone that seems to have been missed by Deano. His own 200 days Deano's been with me from the start of my journey and always been there for me and many others on this site so big high five to 200 days bud.

I used to get them and reported them as offensive, that did the trick I think! I feel sorry for you poor guys and gals whose thing was sports betting, my son was so lovely to me today that I let him watch the footie on TV. The amount of ads in the breaks that were about gambling was obscene. There was even an ad for Virgin TV that I thought was about Marvel slots (I've lost a fortune on 'em all) but in the end it was just about TV. So, even if you want to just watch the footie for the love of the game gambling is flaunted in your face. Anyhow, it's our cross to bear I suppose, our desire to stay stopped has got to be stronger than their desire to lure us in. Thanks for the update Deano, and good luck everyone for the week ahead.
