So today i started off with 100 pound an got up to 2000 in dribs and drabs rang my loan shark paid all the debt an i was left with 230 pound profit. I really couldnt register that i paid my debt was in a state of shocki went an got some food . Eaten my food an within 15 mins i was back on the roulette machine the 230 went in 4 minutes an I called my loan shark up an took another 300 pound for 400 back an that was gone in the next ten mins. Im now in 400 debt its alot better to what it was at the start of the day but i feel as s**t as ever. How would i let myself get so greedy i feel even worse than i did this morning when i woke up -2000. Gambling is absolutely ridicolous what in earth made me carry on I dont know. I hope i can stop this horrible addiction its awful
I'd of shopped him to the police & kept the £2k
Borrowing to gamble at interest rates like that is not wise.

I did write something for you in the New Members section but it was for both you and Burko, so will be under Burko's posts. Anyway, Forum above have been pleading with you to just pick up the phone and call them. Once you have done that you have taken the first step to helping yourself sort all of this out - and it can be sorted if you start talking to people like Gamcare. They do not judge you, everything is confidential and they will give you moral support and information on different people you can contact. There is debt counselling help out there. I am the parent of a gambler and listening to you is bringing it all back to me about the loan sharks etc and I really hope you count today as Day 1 for starting to turn your life around. I know it is not easy but if you stick with Gamcare and start taking their advice and talking to them you will feel a bit better about everything. I would love to hear you have picked up that phone today - you have nothing to lose by doing that - you can only gain. Our gambler decided to take advice, accept help and act on it and it is the best thing he ever did. He was as angry, frustrated and upset as you are now when he hit rockbottom.
