Hi, I'm worried about the debts I have hanging over my head at the moment. They're stopping me from moving on with my life. I want to find a place to live with my partner, but am stuck living with parents due to lack of funds.
I owe my parents about 8k which is being paid off monthly, then there are two loans of 4k and 1,700 owing. I have a credit card I owe 2700 on and a 2k overdraft. The overdraft I can't afford to pay, and I'm only making just over the minimum payment for the credit card.
I can scrape by and afford these payments plus board, mobile phone, interest charges etc and about £20 per week left to spend, but feel this is going to take forever. I thought about applying for a consolidation loan to cover the card and overdraft - but I doubt I'll get one.
What options and solutions are there?
