I am new to all this. My gambling problems started nearly 2 years ago. I just went into a payday loan shop, didn't think what am I doing, no questions asked, and went to bingo. At start I found it exciting a new buzz, but this new buzz began to take over my life. On my days off from work I would just go to bingo. The more I was losing, the more money I would put in, even if I had won a fiver I would put money in. It became addictive. At the time I didn't think I had a problem. After one payday loan, became another one and another one. It was controlling me. I started to become behind on my bills, where I had to call my mum to help. She helped me get my bill sorted in the end, but now all the stress of it has made my mum ill. She confronted me on Monday and said have you got a gambling problem, to which I cried down the phone and said yes I do.
My mum now sorts my finance out. I have started to cut bank cards and cut my bingo card and going to put a ban for my self going into bingo halls.

I wish I could say the same but couldnt help getting caught up init when passing, but least it was only a small amout placed £16 in total.. not £160 like I used to
