I gave up gambling for about a month was doing really well paid some debt off. This month I won a fair bit and now lost it I didn't lose all my money I had to stop myself it's just so annoying I hate the feeling of playing roulette I don't know why I go on it.
Hello Conorj1993,
Welcome to the Forum,
It is not always obvious why people develop an addiction to gambling. Battling against it on your own is very difficult and it can leave you feeling desperate. Understanding the reasons that lead you gambling is very important in order to overcome the problem. It’s not enough just to want to stop but to know why you want to do it in the first place. We provide free counselling sessions that can help you through this. I would encourage you to get in touch with an advisor to discuss your situation and look at what things you could be doing to help yourself.
All the best,
Ana
