Hello
Just wondering if my recent gambling episode where thousands went out of my account in a day will affect me in the future?
If I were to stay clean and build some money back would it prevent me from getting a mortgage etc? Can they see transactions and use them against you?
I want to start planning and working towards my future.
Champy

Hi,I got amortgage a couple of years ago, I managed to not gamble for a couple of months before and applied and as I had an ok credit rating it was fine. They usually look at the amount u want to borrow against ur salary and if u times ur salary by four that's usually what u can borrow. I saved up before and I would suggest if u haven't got a credit card get one and use it and pay it off in full every month, this makes for a better credit rating. Plus look up ur credit rating, its free and u can see where u can make improvements. All I would say is save save save and then ur in the best position. Its worth waiting a while before urchasing anyway as with brexit house prises will prob go down in the short term and at best its a very uncertain market.
