Hi despite reaching 100days gf a week ago, ive decided i really need gamban to work as well as gamstop. Luckily gamcare have offered a free link and i have signed up and downloaded gamban.
It said it is all set up, i decided to test it to check it is working and it has not stopped me accessing any sites. I have emailed gamban and hopefully over the weekend i will get a reply but does anyone have any idea why it could not be working ? It has a key at the top saying device connecting to gamban but it doesnt appear to work

Hi lou, I couldn't get it to work at all, I've seen lots of people say they have had issues with it.
I had to before on an iOS device and it didnt work, kept interfering with my wifi etc but got it android device and working perfectly.
Thanks for the replies,it sounds like its a reallt helpful tool when you can get it running..i have an android, hopefully it can be sorted

Hi Lou x. Thank you for replying on my diary. 100 days is great and it is important that you only see that as a minor milestone imo (just the beginning if you get me). I have never tried gamban as I have found gamblock has been amazing for me.

Turns out it works on mobile data its the wifi that the issue but gamban are looking into this 🙂
No urges to gamble right now but its just an extra protective factor better safe than not and that bit of technology could make a difference.

My device is compatiable..doesnt work on wifi..on my phone even though gamban site saids its compatiable with wifi..anyone else had an issue on their wifi with it and resolved it ?
Still trying to sort it out over email..just wish they had a phone number or live chat to sort quicker and easier..instead of back and forward questions at a more lengthy process..close to giving in.
Has anyone used any other free blockers that were helpful i have gamstop but need an actual block. My bank doesnt have the option and due to poor credit rating im finding it hard to switch.

Well done on your 100 GF days,keep up the good work!
My bf is using the Bet Blocker app,it's for free and it's really helpful,he can't go on any online casino/ betting site. He had some issues though on installation, but he contacted the customer service and they got back at him quite quickly and helped him solved it. It's working since then.
