Hi and Welcome to the forum.

Yes is the chink of light getting in? Do you  begin to see how delusional gambling is from the very start....only it soon turns into a full blown addiction, illness and dependency.

An addiction so bad that most addicts are helpless and not in control of their own minds. The tragedy is that it often takes a rock bottom moment of  such deep despair for them to do anything about it.

Its sold as a bit of harmless entertainment but its actually a drug thats being pushed.

You need to open up now and tell us about your life and what you ever saw in gambling. Its a mugs game...a tax on the poor...a tax on hope...on the dream of an easy life...a tax on drug escape from stress and depresssion

The challenge wasnt even a fair one.....all the risk was really with you because you are facing a large mitigated risk fund...they were never risking their housekeeping money but you were every time.

You were also throwing away your dignity self respect and your relationships with every bet. Its a delusional dreamworld and you will see addicts in every gambling den who actually get quite angry if you question them with the truth.

You need to face it now and do something about it. Only the cold turkey of telling people and starting a recovery journey will set you free from this

Best wishes from everyone on the forum

stop giving it away then ?

although probably a bit too simplistic of an answer you do have the power to just say yep given gambling a good go not working time to try something else

if you cant do that then there is usually a deeper underlying issue that needs to be addressed are you running or trying to escape from something ?
