Hi Matt, how are things now? I’m at 25 days now, another week down, I am trying to talk to my girlfriend more but she’s finding it difficult to understand. Especially as I’ve lied to her so many time. Hopefully we can work things out eventually but all I can do is take ODAAT and make sure that today I will be the best person I can and I will NOT gamble, hope you have a good day mate

Odat you say yo'uve cracked it i disagree.No gambler has cracked it. we will always be compulsive Gamblers but you can arrest the problem ie stop gambling.This addiction will require effort everday for the rest of your life there is no such thing as cracked it

I have to agree with Johnny, I got complacent and thought I’d cracked it, I had cracked it, for 18 months, then it came back to haunt me. I realise now that I will battle this addiction for life, but I’m ready for the challenge and I’m determined to do it, but I think it’s good advice... do not let your guard down

I'm fully aware that this is with me for life - a bit like herpes!!
When I say I've cracked it, I mean that this time around it's different.
It's rarely on my mind, my whole way of thinking about it has changed. This is due in part to the support I'm getting, and the fact that I'm still a gnats whatsit away from losing my family.
I will not gamble again. Ever.
I know this, and the guard is always up!!
