Good morning all. I have just come home to drop my car off in advance of our work Christmas outing. I opened a Christmas card from an aged aunt and in it, as usual, was a five line lottery ticket for tomorrow. In the spirit of our group I have ripped it up. A bit OTT some may say, as I did not buy it myself. However, I started gambling after a one-off visit to a casino and unfortunately won a not inconsiderable sum. Had I lost, I don't think I would ever have gambled again, certainly not to the extent that caused this huge problem and would not need to be here. If one of those lines resulted in a minor win who knows what I would do next. Keep going everyone. YNWA

Coming to the end of day 20, sitting at work contemplating life in general,things aren't perfect but they would be a whole lot worse if I was still gambling. Just need to remember gambling is a sickness, a disease, an insanity, and is always a loser in the long run. Never a truer word was spoken, just need to get it into my thick skull. Stay safe everyone.
Day 18 done, just got back from buying my turkey...there will be last minute food shopping tomorrow when I finish work at lunch time, but now I've got the turkey I'm happy.
