Mixer, don't let personal issues be an excuse to stop fighting!

I applaud you for your efforts on this challenge but understand how consuming it must have been & am grateful that you haven't just wiped your existence from the pages. Please consider leaning on your diary in these dark days...People are rooting for you & it would be good to know you are reaching out when you need to!

Take care - ODAAT

Thank you everyone for your kind messages; I have been touched.

Just to let you know, I will be e-mailing Gamcare the 'Rollcall' spreadsheet in the next couple of days. If anyone wishes to take it on, and keep it updated and publish it etc. then you are more than welcome to. I realise that the rollcall is helpful to many of us. Just contact Gamcare if you would like to take it on. It's not too onerous - I've automated it to a fair degree.

I am very sorry that I cannot continue right now. I wish you all the very best for the future.

Mixer,
You have encouraged and helped many people who have arrived at this site feeling lost and in despair. Giving them hope and, with your 100 day challenge, motivation on their journeys to become gamble free.
I hope your troubles are short term and wish you all the best. Your health and your happiness are what are important.
Take care and remember you'll be welcome to pop back anytime x

Mixer,

Sorry to hear about your personal troubles.
I would encourage you to stay close to your diary and keep sharing. You just recently come bk fighting from the relapse also..that has affected your thinking too and i know it is pain in a b*m...but man, all the tough thoughs will pass. You're doing great...close all the doors to nasty desease...don't let it in & please..don't allow other harmful addictions to take its place. If I'm right, you mentioned about your worry re alcohol consumption.

Look after yourself and don't let the dark voices to tell you you're not worth it..you are...and everyone around you is..but try and make yourself better before giving your all & + to others around you.

Just for today...make it count ☺

S x

Welcome to the forum barbie117

You may want to post in the New members intros section of the forum. Tell us a bit about yourself and how your gambling is affecting you.

You will find a lot of support here from forum members who understand how you feel and also give you advice on steps they have taken to help themselves.

You are very welcome to speak to an adviser on the netline or on our free phone number 0808 8020 133 we can talk to you about strategies to help you to stop gambling such as installing blocking software onto the devices you use which will block your access to the online gambling sites. We can also faciltate a referral to free one to one counselling in some parts of the country which can be very helpful in trying to understand and overcome your difficulties with gambling.

Please keep reading and posting on the forum.

Best wishes
