new years day ive relaspe im so stupuid i know it was only 7 days gambling free i thought i was doing well i get money off family member to pay my bills this month due to spednding all my wages now this morning i relaspe new years day and spend all of it when it was due for my bill on tuesday im beginning to think im never gonna beable to do this anymore i feel like ive let everyone down and i cant telll them ive done it again and expect them to give me more money ughhhh im such a failure

Suddenly been given money during a early period of abstinence Is a big trigger. I had 3 or 4 days free from gambling once and decided to try get a larger overdraft because my wages had been gambled in the first 2 days of the month again. After a 5 star act in front of my account manager, that involved stories of my 2 boys losing their jobs and needing help (lie) to my wifes terminal illness ( true) and me crying at her desk, ( pretend) I got an extra £500. So what did I do with the cash that would have fed us all for the month. I drew it all out from the same bank as soon as I left her office. I walked straight across the street to the bookies, I could look up and still see her office, and I put every penny through the roulette machine. Her office light was still on as I left the bookies broke again. It took me another relapse before I got my teeth into recovery. Never stop trying.
