I’ve used this forum a couple of times and found it helps to read that I’m not alone. I’ve send before that I feel very lucky to have a solid stable relationship ( not that she knows quite how bad it is ) I just can’t understand why I do it as I’ve said in previous messages it took my years to clear my £4k overdraft and now I’m back almost at it maximum!!! Today was very weird I finished work early but on my way home I started getting the urge to gamble but went home ! Only to find less than an hour later I had driven 10 miles and lost £300 at the amusements on there fobt I’m so down about. To be fair it’s my 3rd lapse since February but I hope and pray I can work out why I keep chuckling good money after bad I just want to know why ! And why me X

Not you alone that's for sure. Last night like an idiot I gambled my last £40 got up to £280 that would have been a great help for me untill I'm next paid I looked at it recognised this but as usual continued to spin and lost it all why when I can see it dropping don't I just withdrawal why do I keep going hoping I will hit a bonus or free spins???? It's got me so down sitting today knowing I should have money but I don't and why????? Because I'm an idiot

Firstly you must stop gambling and you can not really do that alone. I hope you can tell someone close in your family.
The urges make no sense and inside you know that. The gambling dens are pushers and what you may not yet understand is they are mainly pushing a drug you are hooked on

All of that is in your addicted head.....that's why they deviously call them amusements but its no fun really is it....you are not really in there for casual amusement
It's highly addictive and a waste of time just like any dangerous and destructive drug
The government know it.......the gambling dens know it but its a billion pound scam so they don't protect you and lap up the profit.
