Hi Feb

I hope today's been another good one 🙂

How's the baking? Like you, I had lost the value of doing stuff I enjoy- for such a long time gambling took precedence in my life. I forgot the important, simple stuff. I spent 5 hours today trawling around shops with my sister, just window shopping (skint lol) and had a ball. We did manage a pub lunch tho 🙂

Son's still not had a decision about mortgage- but my worrying won't change the outcome so trying hard not to!

Take care

Irene

Hi Feb,

Not to mention, bless you for all the support that's been offered to others in the 'community' 😉 Really happy for you and wish you the best. I know you will do well. Day 23 for you, Day 50 for me today.

All the best

"It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING)" = 24 DAYS

Just off for power walk. On the cooking agenda later - Shepherds pie and home made choc chip shortbread - beats gambling any day!!

Here's to a gamble free day to all. Feb. Sticking to the "Bright side of the road".

Hey chef

Glad to see the positive note continues-I'm confident you'll see the quarter century and many, many more gamble free days. Just continue to take each day as it comes.

Wondering what's on the menu tomorrow lol.....I've never had the patience for cooking/ baking, I just love eating !!!!

Congratulations Feb - 25 days woo hoo!!!

I just want to say you are a real inspiration so thank you for contributing to this family.

I am hoping to take a leaf out of your book today - I am hitting the kitchen - I am not a fan of pancakes so I'm using up my larder ingredients (as you should on Shrove Tuesday!) and I'm going to make a carrot cake (no frosting though - must think of the calories!!!) - wish me luck!

Anyway, well done and here's to the next 25 days x

It's another day, it's another "NO" to GAMBLING = 25 DAYS.

All good in Feb world (well if you know what I mean)! Feeling calm and relaxed each day is a definite plus anyway - something that's been missing in my life for so long now.

Two little phrases came to my mind earlier:

"I CAN DO IT"

"I WILL DO IT"

I just wanted to share these with my Gamcare friends.

No urges whatsoever - simple as!

Going to spend some time looking through my cook books for some nice fish menus for Ash Wednesday!

Stay strong friends and let's keep to that "Bright Side of the Road"

It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING) = 26

DAYS

Ok, I know it's only 2am of day 26 and some may argue that the day hasn't even begun! However, gambling is no longer on my list of options SIMPLE AS!!

I'm hoping my sleep pattern will improve when I return to work next month.

Enjoy the rest of your day Gamcare friends.

Feb (Who is ADAMANT about sticking to that "Bright Side of the Road")!!
