A new life

Thanks everyone for your posts, hope you are having a good Bank Holiday weekend.

All is good with my son and myself - he is working hard and staying on track, as always, taking one day at a time and trying to work on the honesty and truth, that I sometimes don't believe him ... I am sure it will come but I have suffered so much deceipt I find it hard to believe and trust as I have been so hurt in the past - anyway on a more positive note going away with friends tomorrow for 2 days before work on Tuesday - take care everyone Jx

Just popping in ... haven't posted for a

just over a week ... have been so so busy - my son is still doing well on his recovery journey, has moved out inot his own place and taking on those responsibilities ...

week 18 for him, I am so proud of him

He sounded quite down today though, his work ahve been messing about with him, promising him promotion and then not following through - he is quickly learning lifes lessons - just worry about him when he sounds down.

As always taking one day at a time on this recovery journey.

Glad your son is doing well. Hope your doing good also. Keep it simple one day at a time is what I'a learning in my G.A. program. Stay strong and take care.

Thx Charlotte for your post ... all is good with me.

Haven't posted for a while as life has been busy busy.

My son is doing fine ... moved out, changed jobs and keeping strong.

He hadn't been to his counsellor for a month due to work load and went back last week, she is so pleased with him , she thought he had fallen off the recovery path !

But he is staying strong, I am trying my best to believe all he says ( I know sometimes I find this hard), but he seems so happy at the moment ... but as always I take each day ad it comes and build on that

Haven't posted for a while as all seems to be good in my sons life ...he is working hard and I am sill managing his money, but that seems to work at the moment ... hope all is well with everyone ... stay cool and calm !!

I always worry still ... but I guess that is the mother, and because I love him so much. I am sos so proud of him though

Have had a good day, my son is doing well, had lunch with him today and he bought me a gift voucher to have a neck and back massage.

I am so proud of him, but like a Mum always worry about him - I worry now when he goes out, as his resistance is lower than normal ... And he's out tonight at a Leaving do ! So will not sleep so well, but he has be proving to me that he can have nights out and be good. As always taking each day at a time, but growing with pride at his achievements
