So glad to hear your son is doing so well! You are a great support, he is very lucky to have such a loving, strong mum. My mum does not know about my addiction, the thought of telling her makes me feel sick. I have heard her say in the past that my nanny always said that it would be a terrible thing to be married to a gambler. God if only she knew! But I do know that even though she would be shocked she would stand by me and like you she would be constantly worried about me, I guess that's the main reason I don't want her to know. My husband and my brother in law do know so at least I have off loaded to them! Hope you have a fab weekend and I definitely need to lose weight so if you are still up for it we could support each other, though I am heading off tomorrow for a few days so much wine and food will be consumed so will probably start next Wednesday xxx

Haven't posted for a while, but all is good at the moment. My son had his last counselling session last week and his counsellor was really pleased with him , I am so proud, but always worried for him ... But I guess that is because I love him so very much

Haven't posted for a while ... so hi to all that post to me .. I often catch up on here with all your posts, but don't post myself ... I think I am frightened to say all is good with my son ... I am so so proud of him, but I am always frightened to celebrate his recovery ... he is doing well, but tonight he tells me his is stressed with work and he is not feeling well as he suffers with IBS ... Ihope all is OK - I checked his bank accounts and all seems good. Life is held by such a thread ... I read posts on here and my heart sometimes wants to break ... I wish everyone well on their personal journey ... keep posting, I will keep reading, and have a great weekend xx

Hi WJ, thanks for posting on my diary! So glad to hear your son is doing well and I hope he manages his stress - it's a good sign though that he told you how he is feeling, a problem shared is a problem halved! Hope you have a great weekend x

Just been reading your thread ... Thank you for posting here ... All is good ... Sometimes afraid to say it though ... My son is doing well, I am taking each day at a time, and always worrying ... That's the mother in me lol, he is doing well at the moment, working hard , sticking to a budget, but has a few weekends away planned and a stag do ... So more worrying for me !!!, keep in touch xxx

All is good here my son is still on hi recovery journey one day at a time and doing well

He has his appraisal at work tomorrow and has been working so hard I hope it is all positive for him

Just a quick hello to all that follow my thread ... So proud of my sons recovery journey but tonight am quite worried as he is away on a stag weekend.

We have spoken about the weekend and he says he will be fine, but am a little on tender hooks as I am afraid his reserve will be down after drinking .... Hope he stays safe and on track tonight .....
