Baljit mate, you need help.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. Time to decide whether you truely want to quit gambling or if you are just P***** at losing again.

if you are serious then speak to someone on netline, get blocks in place, and show some desire to quit. Noone can quit for you mate, only you can turn things around.

I hope you can do it, you hav been around this site long enough now. Come on mate, if you want to you can do this.

Baljit, Next time you lose big, look over your diary from day 1. You have been attempting to beat this addiction for too long by will-power alone - YOU NEED BLOCKS IN PLACE !!! This doesn't make you weak. It makes you strong by recognising you have a problem and attempting to regain control of your life.

I know it's hard to accept that you are powerless against gambling, but the sooner you realise this, the better.

How soul destroying it must be for you to promise yourself over and over that you won't gamble and then let yourself down over and over again. You need to take control again Bajhit - you are a compulsive gambler, so you will never win. Every attempt at gambling over the past year has resulted in a loss can't u see that there will be no other outcome?

I'm not in a position to preach at you Bajhit, and I was in a period of denial for a while myself, but you need to listen to the advice on here as there is only YOU that can put an end this cycle.

Lost £60 on Wed this week then on Thur £135 you think i would learn from that then today Fri i lost £45 which all of this money is from friends and now i owe it to them.

Fed up with gambling people on this site are fed up with me saying it is my last day of gambling everyday .

For a change i am going to take in what people are saying to me fed up of having no money everyday.

Last day of gambling on Horses,Football,Dogs and no more putting money in machines in bookies.

LAST DAY OF BETTING IS FRI 10th JUNE 2011.

FIRST DAY OF RECOVERY IS SAT11th JUNE 2011

Please, Please do Baljit, people only want what is best for you. They get frustrated because they are desperately tring to help you and yet they keep seeing you fall into the same trap time after time.

Get a block online hun - There are free blocks available if expense is the issue. I use K9, it requires a password to uninstall which can be set by your wife maybe? (i'm sure she would love to help you say good-bye to this addiction once and for all).

Then come back and tell us that you have done it - Do it for yourself Baljit, you're worth more than this torture you keep putting yourself through.

I did well today coming from work at about 6.00pm i only had £25.00 which i made from tips today nearly went in the betting shop from the way home . I said no i used my willpower and did not go in , it was very hard but so far good !

Good progress Baljit, and well done for using your will-power. I find that will-power is often a very powerful tool after a heavy loss, but after the pain associated with your previous losses dies down, that urge maybe very difficult to resist.

Didn't you state in an earlier post that you had self-excluded from the bookies? If this is the case you should not be gained entry anyway.

You need to put barriers in your way Baljit - It will allow you to help yourself recover.

You will get rid of that permanent torment - Should I just try a tenner? My luck might be in today? .... when you remove the opportunity, you are half way to beating the problem.

Try and release some of the pressure on yourself.

Good luck Baljit..... It would be nice if you could treat yourself and your wife with your next wage, or better still start saving for a holiday. Could be just the thing you need to keep your mind focused.

Did well for 2 days then went back this Mon 13thJune 2011. Been betting all week at Ascot lost about £110 this week.

IF I CAN STOP FOR 2 DAYS LAST WHICH LAST SAT.SUN I DID NO BETS I CAN BEAT THIS !

Start again Baljit - never stop trying to quit. You'll get there.
