Hi Libbers,

So glad to hear you have found full time work to help you stabilize things. I know money was crazy tight, and this has hopefully taken some pressure off!

Hope you have a great Christmas!

Yo Simba

A belated but big thankyou for the support in my slip pre xmas.

Am trusting that this top roaring lioness is still striding on with the cubs in toe.

Saw you made headlines news last year with front page of the Sun '' Lion on the loose in Essex''

Strength and Honor and take care

Hey everyone,

Had a few slips over the last few months, working full time abit of disposable income and ive found myself slipping back into old ways.

I will not allow this addiction to devastate me as it has before,my two wonderful boys need their mum on top of her game at the moment eldest is in gcse year and little one started school on tuesday,i've worked to bloody hard since i first came here to catch up on unpaid bills and give my boys the things they deserve that a couple of years ago i couldnt because i was gambling every last penny i had.i will not go through all that heartache and pain just so i can sit on my a**e and blindly press a button on my computer.

I am worth more than this addiction and its taken me a long time to realise i'm worth more than this,so i have returned to a place which helped give me the strength to fight last time and win.A place of understanding and warmth, cyber friendship and advice you can not find anywhere else.

I will get through this rough patch and i will come out the other end stronger than before.

Things have not snowballed to the extent of last time i am within reach of getting bills paid all be it abit late but like i said i will fight and i will not let this addiction take me down again.

Stay Strong

L xx

Elizabeth.

I have never posted upon your thread before but have read many times some very wise words you have gifted the forum, I owe you a debt of gratitude for helping me understand the true meaning of this forum through our friend Rachel's diary, for that I thank you.

I hope again the forum brings you the support to help you regain control of your addiction.

Reading your last post I felt the strength in your commitment to your own recovery.

Welcome again.

Duncs stepping forward never back.

when i get the chance i will catch up on everyones diaries and post some replys, head still spinning about finding myself slipping again, the usual feelings of being cross with myself for allowing it to happen, but also safe in the knowledge i have some of the best support going.

Stay Strong

Hi Elizabeth

I think coming back on here seeing the signs of this dreaded addiction creeping back into ur life shows how far u av come in life and av a good understanding of what we are dealing with

There's certainly no shame in it myself av slipped a couple of times since we last posted its all a learning curb and for many of us life is much better now, the support will always be here for u with this wonderful site its always a tough one to find that balance though reading and talking bout gambling when its the one thing out of our lives, sometimes we just av to accept it is how it is
