Thank you for all the lovely posts......  thats what im thankfull for today......the lovely support of all on here.

Its lovely to get to a milstone on here and get such feedback.....

Im not gonna lie ive come thru some tough times........  But ive managed to stay gamble free.

Today on what seems like a milestone of significance ive got my ps pro ....... i installed it and its spent the last 9 hours transfering all games and data (and my gran turismo points and cars hopefully lol) to the new console...

Ive spent today watching footy...... mixed bag......

And also watching you tubers talk about the ps5 pro...... also reading up on it....... its fair to say the reviews are reallly positive so im really glad ill get to try it out soon.......

I also bought an ethernet cable on thursday night and will connect my new console directly to the router for even more performance......

With what i ended up paying for it ive actually paid for it solely with the gift cards i got back in december last year....... so im still on course to spend nothing on gaming for this calender year..... (one of my objectives)..... ill see whether i end up buying the gta six ........ but i think i can get that for my birthday present in may.....ill just wait to buy it with birthday money.......

Ive got soo many games to revisit that are updated with pssr but free with my ps premium subscription ive paid for upfront a few years ago....... Theres spiderman 1 and2, gow ragnorok, rachet and clank, gt7, war hammer space marine...... cyber punk....... but whos kidding ill just spend hours and hours on gran turismo lol.....

Im going to sell my original ps5 for 250 hopefully.....  ive asked a couple of friends if they fancy it......

Im really glad i got it for a great price as it would play on my mind if i paid over the odds for it......

Back to work tomo..... booooooo....but ive only got to work on week then i get 10 days off horray

Evening just in bed without the heating on...... deciding whether to a) turn heating on and be warmer or b) wrap up more in bed......

Think ill go c) blast heating for ten mins best of both worlds......

my heating bills not been too bad this year...... but its been a cold march for sure which meant it been a bit more expensive than last year for heating.....

Today i went to work and grafted....... then came back.... nap.... went to town for some steps and a coffee..... then home for a pasta bake.... bath... gamcare chat and now sitting in bed......

Done 45 000 steps in first four days...... great consistent approach.... not going over board but ddoing well.....  12500 next two days.... then rest day saturday......

Sunday im playing golf......

Next week off work so looking forward to that for sure.....

Hi stuart...... thansk for popping by...... my seventh year is not untill december long long way to go till that milestone...... focusing on the 2345 days which i think is 40 days away......

Found out today that all the playstations prices are going up in a weeks time....... this menas not only that theres more demand for them this wek but that i bought my pro at exactly the right time and for one hell of a good price.... so im thankful for that......

Been struggling today with the thoughts of having a drink of alcohol tonight (not made easier by the cans still in my fridge)........  I will feel much better in bed and in the morning without it.........  but thinking like to relax a bit with a can........  almost like its addiction even tho ive only had one can in eight years....... should be proud of that number........  Think the major hangover headache has done me a great strength by thinking ill feel ill the next day each time so i think ill take that as another omen that i shouldnt drink......ill give the cans to a friend......

Hi Adam

Sorry, should have worked that one out. You diary speaks of one day at a time, it may not say those words but the meaning is there, each day mate.

Yes, 2345 is a great next milestone to take fire at.

I guess on the alcohol front, you have worked that decision out for yourself. If it's not good for you, What's the difference between one or none mate

Maybe removed the temptation and give the cans away ?.Up to you of course.

Keep posting mate, I'm sure a lot of people read them like me and you write such an honest diary of feelings.
