So I began an occasional gambler with sports bets, bingo and lottery. I work nights so I'm often bored at work with nothing to fill my time. About 6 months ago I started using the free spins and 5 pound bonus given by w**********l daily. Then I thought I'd join lots of other sites to see what offers and freebies they had, this started to consume my time everyday. I had a freebie for.monopoly live casino and enjoyed playing this as it was like a game and I had a few nice big wins. I escalated my time playing this and became obsessed. Chasing losses, I thought I could read the game and.timings of the payouts.

Last week I won XX off a £1.10 bet... today I have none of left and I spent my wages for living within hours of getting them. Time to stop. So I made the call, spoke to my loved ones and the recovery starts here.

Gamcare have been amazing and I now feel relieved.

Welcome to the diaries Gtmisty.

It takes courage and understanding to realise and accept that we are compulsive gamblers but that is the sad reality of our situation.

I am pleased to read of your determination to stop gambling and wish you every success.
