Just popped In agai.nWith a little story from last  night.

So one of my first milestones was reaching 30th Nov last year to go to Christmas Market on train with daughter. Which I did. On the train returning home opposite were four local folk. Obvious by there accents and places mentioned. They were entertaining in talk and merry with a little help of liquid in a can ? they acknowledged us once or twice. Never seen them before but no trouble.. We got off at a small station before the last major one..so said our byes.

Well we went to  a friends 5oth party last night.. I enter a milestone this Monday.. Guesses who were sat on next table to me at the party ?? strange but true..

Good Morning Boo,

I posted on your diary yesterday but it never appeared. Who knows what happened there. Anyway, nice to read that you’re doing well and on your way to 100 days gamble free. Fabulous achievement and mirrors the effort that you continually put into your recovery.

Its icy where I am. I’m intending on going for a run but need to wait a while for it to thaw out. I hate slippy pavements.

I hope you have a nice day.

RR

Many congratulations on 100 days gamble free Boo, Ian so proud of you?????

It is a privilege to have shared some of your journey with you. I wonder in the last 100 days how many miles you have run, jigsaws you have completed, films you have watched, babycham's you have drunk, foot pampers you have had...

You rock!!!!

Thank you murlo and you take care today.

It's a lovely Cold day here today. Able to get out n walk.

Not a lot planned but that's fine.

100 days seems like a forever number. Broken down its 3 months just over a quarter of a year.  Lots of positives along the way.. No negatives to the actual doing of gambling but some days the emotions and urges have been a torment. That said they ease. The memories are fresh still. Fresh enough to know I don't want the return of anquish. Anxiety. Sweating. No sleep. Reverse that the I do want the feeling of elation relaxation. Feeling rich as having a healthier Bank balance.

So all in all.. The better days erase the not so good ones.

Thanks all who have helped and are continuing to do so.

Thanks gamcare.. A lot

Everyone have an easy day..

Mixer.. Yes continue me on your challenge.. I want to loop back and keep running with everyone until we all circle this milestone together

Till chat

Boo ??????

If you happen to get bored on your special day and fancy a bit of a clinical update, search for the use of esketamine in the treatment of SI. Only came across it recently. I know this random post will make sense to a fellow nurse ?
