Hi mate

Missed you on the chatroom but sounds like you had a good day

The way I look at it, Athletico won the first 20 minutes 4-0 but we won the last 70 minutes 2-1

Bad week for steps. 26k in four days

Hi,  had a tough week but come out the othersoide with a 72000 step achieved.

Had problems with my mental health and took friday off work after doctors advise.

Been focusing on wanting to buy a ps5 pro upgrade.... hopefully it should come down in price at argos again soon..... should be this month.....lets hope its a good price as currently its 699.99 and thats pretty steep.

i usually buy my things at the right time so im hoping next price point is the sweet spot....

500-550-600 ish and i would bite.

ive only got to work mon-wed next week then a long weekend so that great......so really a shiny new ps pro would be perfect for that time off but thats hoping for a lot haha..

Hi Adam

I know you've had a tough week mate and I feel for you. It will be good to have an easier week. I think you should treat yourself. You will get a lot of use out of it so it's worth it.

Steps were good mate. I finished on only 60k so you are on a roll.

Big match tomorrow, not sure I can watch it

Hi stuart allways love seeing your posts on here........ Just read ur post about ur last saturday gambling compared to yesturday......really night and day....... so much more rewarding ur days now....... but u really do put 199 percent effort into ur days whether it be grambling or recovery....... keep going strong.

Now i purchased the ps5 pro in december for 600 pounds with 50 pounds of nectar points so 550 pounds...... i at that night thought it was a lot to spend so cancelled the order......... Since then the price has gone back up to the full 700 pounds and theres now rumours that with rising ram prices globally it could go up even more.....

Now also i watch all the computing news on you tube and allways want the new gadgets....... ive been watching the news and this month theres been a new update for the ps5 pro (pssr version 2 its called) that is making the pro  lot better sharper graphics than previously....... its got great reviews...... and has made me want it more and more again.

Whether the price will go down again or up is completely unknown quantity.......  I bought the ps5 slim two years ago for 350 its now 2 years later over 400, also i bought the xbox series x for 400 its now 500.....

Over the last few days ive looked at price histories and allthough its currently highest its been ive thought i only live once and will get a lot of joy out of it and that 100 pounds extra over the course of using it for that time will hopefully be worth the two days work to earn it.

So i've bought it and am looking forward to seeing the difference it makes to my gaming.

Oh yeah also my daily update.........  I woke up 2pm today....... watched the start of the 2pm game and had lunch (soup),,,,,,, Then felt like getting coffee and doing some steps......... I wore my new trainers and altho they are very spongy they are difficult to get used to and feet ache a bit in them so getting used to them.....

Then came back and went to folks for mothers day,,,,,,,,, watched footy great result for spurs...... then back here..... phoned a friend late and chatted and bought ps5 pro......

done 8k steps today....... 72 last week......im consistent...... and recovery going well..... .im back to my normal self after a tough end to last week health wise.

I went to collect the ps5 pro today and even tho it was there to collect it had a tear down the side of the box and as i will no doubt sell it on later id like a nice box so i got a refund on it.  Maybe its fate as its bnot the best price and i think all the hype is mainly persuading people to buy and hopefully they still not selling too many at this price so the will reduce soon..  Im thinking ill leave it till it goes down again...... i can wait a few months.....

Just waching the brentford game exciting end .....

Hi my friend

I love your comment above about the start to the week. I know you are five years free and will hit six this year, I have no doubt but isn't it great to be present and even notice it's a new week. Each week is a new week, something I hardly even noticed in action. Monday would always be low key racing after the weekend so they all blurred into one. Now, each Monday morning after starting my routine, I write down my plans for each day of the week. I know I've said it before but in this instance rather than a blank canvas with a brush to paint whatever I like, it's replaced with a white piece of paper and a pen. I look at the week and it's all about recovery at the moment and I hope it will always look like that. There are notes on days for appointments etc that can't be moved but plenty of other things that can be, and there's no stress or procrastination in that.

Do you ever feel, how did you ever enjoy the previous way of life because I don't understand it. Just going from one bet to another, being present for a bit and then half there or gone again

The world is beautiful mate and people like you and the rest of this community make this world a better place one day at a time.
