Yo, enjoy ! ..........Shiny 🙂
Day 89
Had a good weekend overall. Saturday was very busy so no time to think about football. Sunday I was less occupied but there wasnt much temptation.
Have a 4 day trip to Venice 13 March for my birthday so just counting down each day now, its nice knowing I have some money to spend which I usually would have thrown away gambling on anything.
Day 91
Football on yesterday but nothing tempted me. Thinking about learning Spanish to fill more of my time as have always said i wanted to but never got round to it
Day 93
Week to go till 100 days, gone very quick. Big North London Derby early tomorrow will be a temptation as is normally a game I have a bet on
Day 96
Didnt have as much temptation as I thought I would watch the game Saturday. Kept busy yesterday with family followed by evening trip to cinema. One more week of work then nice trip to Venice
Day 101
100 hit yesterday, has gone very quick. Havent had as many temptations as I thought I would have, keeping myself a lot busier has helped a lot and Monzo has blocked all temptations when chilling at home which was when I used to gamble most before.
Have a good weekend all
Day 103
Very nearly gave in yesterday. Went to the pub to watch Arsenal match and mate went to bookies to have a bet. I went with him and almost gave in but didnt. Good win for Arsenal , Venice in 2 days 🙂
Day 109
Had a great 4 days in Venice, really recommend a visit for those who have never been.
Was busy everyday and hardly thought about gambling, just a little bit on the Thursday during the Arsenal game.
Bit of a break from football next few weeks so that should help me and limit my temptations.
Hi CM3003
Just a quick note to offer you some encouragement with your gf journey. Sometimes people can be tempted to gamble around the time of certain milestones on their recovery path and I am glad to read that you didn't give in to that and have progressed to day 110. This is a wonderful achievement, and it looks like you're planning on taking a break from football and thinking of taking up learning Spanish, and hopefully these things will support your journey to a gamble free life. Well done.
Warm regards
Leigh

Day 112
Thank you,
This is my second diary and the first time I lasted 139 days so want to at least beat that and then see how I go from there.
It is a lot easier when there is no football on as it is all I ever gamble on when I do.
Should hopefully be another easy week with hardly any temptation.
Day 113
Not thought about gambling last few days until now writing this, no temptation however, feeling good.
Day 115
Didnt even realise there was international games last night. Its a lot easier to stay clear when the normal football season has a break.
4 weeks until I hit my best of 139 days gamble free, looking to hit that and more.
Day 117
Very busy weekend no time to even think about the football. Is my 4 year anniversary next Saturday and looking to book a 5 star hotel in London , nice to know I can do that without stressing about money and gambling.
When i was gambling I was losing £50-100 a week easily with no care and thought yet when it came to spending £20 on myself or things I would actually need i wouldnt.
Scary how you just totally lose control and value of money when gambling takes over, I dont want to go back to that again.
Day 119
Watched the England game last night had a few thoughts about gambling but had no chance to give in.
Day 121
Has been a lot easier the last two weeks with hardly any football on. Now that it is back this weekend I will of course think about it more but I am just happy I have the blocks in place as without them would not have lasted this long
Affected by gambling?
