I returned to England on Saturday night, but I do not return to the office until tomorrow. Horrifically hot in London and my cycle route has been destroyed by the Olympic road closures. I will have to sweat it out on the tube for the next few weeks. I shall be checking my credit report tomorrow as it will be 5 months until Christmas.

Yes, I'm fine. I know exactly where you're coming from, re the site. I'm just updating twice a month now, making the odd comment here and there, and really I'm just cruising up to the one year mark. Of course, there's very few of us left (who post regularly) from when we started. Mostly it doesn't matter, we're all 'virtual', but I was sorry to lose NI boy. I'm in touch with Pat privately by email, since he was extremely important in those first few weeks, and other than you (and perhaps NT) I feel a bit...left out, I suppose. It doesn't matter, we are well into our recoveries, and we don't have the need that the newbies have, but I feel I should keep posting and reading a little for now. Perhaps you want to remain anon, but do you want to swap emails? Won't be offended if you don't. I have a 'junk' one that I can give you, from which I'll send you the real one if you contact me.

Hello Milkman, sorry for not being in touch recently. Life has been very busy and stressful of late: my parents are moving house in September and I have had to sort through and clear out a large chunk of my childhood possessions and, consequently, my past. I have also just had my 30th birthday so am feeling much older. I am still gamble-free but have not been posting as regularly as I have started to lose interest in this site. Apart from a few good diaries, of which yours is one, I think there are a lot of half-hearted, time-wasting entries on here, which I cannot be bothered to get involved in. I also think a number of diaries are way off topic. There are also dozens of people who disappear after one entry, which is disappointing. Anyway, I shall keep in touch and will give you my email address soon. I hope to stay on this site until the end of the year. I must be approaching 300 days gamble-free, but I shall have to calculate that later as I am at work now.
