How's the mystery shopping going? Do you get to wear a big mac with sunglasses?

Update please!

I realise I have not been very active on here for some time. I have just been drifting along. I am still gamble free, which is good, but I have lost interest in my recovery. In fact I just feel bored. I think I miss the excitement of gambling because I am very impulsive and have a short attention span as a person and those attributes seem to suit gambling. I need to stay on my guard though because I know that my life will be worse if I gamble: I have a family to support and I cannot afford to ruin my finances again not to mention my health and emotional well being. I have more than halved my debts (down from 14k to 6k) since I stopped gambling last November so I should be happy, but for some reason I feel bored and ever so slightly depressed. I cannot quite put my finger on the problem at the moment.

I went to the Olympic Park today for an evening of paralympic athletics at the Olympic Stadium. Wonderful atmosphere. Great stadium. Enjoyable evening.

interesting reading your 4th Sept post, and also your last post on my diary. I agree with it all. I think the recovery is harder when the urgency lessens and the money starts recovering. Perhaps you should read back your own diary. I think that although we all come from different walks of life with different educations, we all have in common what you said - a need for a quick hit, something that doesn't demand too much patience. That's the curse. I imagine the recovery will be harder still when the money is back to evens again. That's why I'm still posting - I need reminding on a regular basis.
