Recovery for me mirrors our lives a great deal, when this addiction had it's hold we could not see this , the wood for the trees so to speak, then recovery, at first we use all the crutches we can lay our hands on, then we spread this good feeling to all we can, in doing this we come to terms?

Harmony!! We learn abstain and maintain, life in the middle lane.

Shiny your efforts from the start relentless, wise words, kind words and balanced, all the while your life outside, both of them demanding lol, you give your all, along side the reward your work professionally brings soon I hope, I among many here doubtlessly, would reward your efforts here with simply what you deserve.

It was just that some of the contributors here, I couldn't bare to lose them. You were numero uno on that list Shiny. I will miss you wherever you go. I wish you all the luck and love in the world and I really really mean that. No wind ups or fooling tonight honey. You were my cybergirl. I will never forget what we had. In a few years time when I hope I have put the gambling days well and truly behind me I will tell people about the legendary Shiny. The diamond in the sky.

Well just in from work , and well bit gob smacked at the responses I got . I truly can not thank you enough , every single last one of you .

Normally and this is being really honest , at home or at work I check this site 20 to 30 times a day ......

Today posted , went to work and this was my next log in .

I truly care bout you all, but it has become all encumbacing . And like I said this morning I feel that I am becoming a boring old f**t . Repeating the same thing over and over . I may be back next week with my tail between my legs , who knows ??

So from a distance I will be keeping a beady eye on you , and will still watch and support a friend in need .

I see soooooooo many doing sooooooo well lately , and that fills my heart with joy . So I have one thing left to say , before I leave to you all, and get some well needed zzzzzzzzzz

Just read your last post on AN's diary....

I think to exchange your contact details you go into "Contact Us" in tiny print right at the top of the screen and then scroll down to "Complaints and feedback"...which is about the 4th header down.

"Forumadmin" is the 3rd one and when you press it it just pops up as a blank email for you to write on.

I'm happy being an outboard motor and I won't be joining the group because as a Codependant I would feel too responsible for peoples recoveries and worried I may say the wrong thing...lol ; )

But...I passed on my f/book details a while ago to a couple of folk who are no longer on the site who have got long term recovery and moved on aside of AN
