Day 39,got home early from work so went a walk with wife and 2 kids then played game of 5 a sides.played terrible to say the least but hay ho am still free of that 1st bet and will wake up happy knowing that.not every day we are happy not every day we are sad but one thing I can say is with no money gambled that major guilt, angry, emotional, remorse, selfish and hurt feeling will never hang over us for long as each day betfree we become a much better person. Stay strong everyone Scottyboy,s guard is up and staying solid. :@

40 days mate get in!! I echo what you said in my diary its really helping me to have you alongside and long may it continue! Xmas is gonna come mate and the gers and boro will be top of the league but most importantly me and you will be top of the no betting league!!

Stay safe over the weekend mate, do you find you're still getting tempted by the football? I am, but the dream team certainly helps

Halfway through another day bet free,WHY because I am starting to realise that I can have everything out of life I want and I dont have to place a bet.i can be nice to people, listen to people when the need someone to talk to and also can trust myself and be trusted by others by doing 1 thing and thats not placing a bet.who knows what life brings to us???????? No one,but I am going to try and live what I have left of life gamble free, happy and healthy.I regret all lost time and money due to gambling and also everyone around me that I have hurt so now its time to

turn things around. Hope eeveryone is having a bet free day.

Hi Scottyboy well done on being gamble free, and seeing how stopping has made your life so much better, you sound in a good state of mind.

Glad your enjoying GA something which I'll have to try.

Went for a wee walk at lunch there, sun splitting the sky, feel much more positive than i did y day, but it s a long road ahead, but one I intend to enjoy gamble free!

Hi mate yes I agree we just have to keep racking up the clean days and surely things will get easier but the main thing is even if we are unhappy, bored, down at least we are not losing anymore money. Xmas is realistic mate we CAN do it and we will.

dream team going ok so far , how do the transfers work, as in how many do you get and when do you get them?
