Almost at the first big checkpoint, last xmas did you think it was possible that in a years time you could be over 5 months gamble free? I didn't and it feels pretty good!
What's going on at rangers?! Just when you think things are getting better it all goes wrong again. Hope it gets sorted soon or this season will be a write off

Had a really busy week at work and trying to get all xmas gifts in.so much has changed for me in last 5 month as I have started to realise everything is not only about me.am so glad to meet my 1st goal getting to xmas gamble free.its hard to believe that on 12th of January I will be half a year free from a bet.:-o I wish everyone a gamble free xmas and newyear. Boxing day will be my most challenging day of all but al have all my guards in place to see the year out bet free.

Yeeeesss I have manged to get through xmas and boxing day without placing a bet,should be a easy task for most people but when you have done it for the last 15 years its hard to stop with the click of fingers.i felt a massive urge to bet a horse which did eventually win and few football coupons but managed to battle the urge away because I know that a few days,weeks,months or years later it would go back to the major hell again.i am not 100 percent happy with everything thing right now but I am happy I can put my head on the pillow and sleep at night.before I stopped gambling I couldn't have done that.hope everyone is doing ok.

Congratulations mate on making it through! To get past those massive urges is a huge achievement and one of which you should be immensely proud.
Next step it to make it a year mate, I know you can do it.

Just finished football,my legs are killing me.lol monday cant come fast enough for me as I will be 6 month away from a bet.great for me because before I gave gambling up I couldn't go 6 seconds without betting or thinking about betting.I have alot of thanks to my G.A meeting members that have helped me along the way. Hope everyone is doing ok.scottyboy marches on a day at a time.

Ever so glad to get through today without placing a single penny.had a really stressful day at work,and my normal way to feel better in the past was to go to the bookies and sit there until I had lost enough money to make the next day 10 times worse.i am happy to say its not like that today.i have worked at this really hard but most of my thanks has to go to the people in the GA fellowship.i thought 6 months ago walking through those doors that I am not as bad as others here in the room but I have grown to learn that no matter what types of gambling we do or how much we gamble.we are simply
powerless.:-( half a year free of a bet but keeping things in the day.goodluck in your recovery every single person on here. X
