thanks for the messages. i feel sick at the thought of what happens after the gambling.

i could have quite easily thrown the towel in today and bet. i think i was over confident in how i was feeling. then boom it hits you in the face!

GA tomorrow. looking forward to that. also looking forward to the weekend. think about it too much at work.

day 9 ticked off

Thanks suzanne

into day 10. still feeling a bit sorry for myself. resisting the temptation still although it feels strong at the moment.

i think as a compulsive gambler I was always looking for that end result whether it be lose or win. this is where i am at the minute. i just want that end result. and it to be a positive one.

glad the weekend is here. i have plenty planned to keep my mind off it.

have a great gamble free weekend everyone

Not been on for a while. Been away. Was feeling great. Temptations but fought them away.

However the last few days the feelings of guilt have come back. Feeling as low today as I ever had.

Can't seem to pick myself up. Not sure where this has come from.

Hi PA

Well done on staying strong

The mood swings are part of the process of recovery they will come and go just as quick as they have come

Just ride through the negative thoughts

Keep going

Thanks suzanne.

Trying not to be negative. It's a great outlet to come on here and say how you feel. The good days are out waying the bad.

This weekend has been hard. I personally haven't felt great and with the football season starting everybody seems to be talking about having a bet. Sticking my head in the sand and trying not to listen.

Looking forward to good days ahead
