Hi guys

127 days and no FOBT's for me, got to admit I have now lost the appetite all together to ever play them again. All I remember is that gut wrenching feeling after a big loss.

I feel better health wise and financially for not playing them.

Good luck guys and remember 'nothing worse then a destroyed gambler'.

131 Not Out.

I will be going to Manchester City centre tomorrow, over 60 bookies and temptation everywhere. I have done this trip a few times and come out the other end, while the family are shopping I will be walking around for five hours getting bored but that is better then losing hundreds on the FOBT's.

Paul - go to the Northern Quarter in Manchester - no bookies over there. Get a coffee in somewhere like the Koffee Pot and people watch. Or download a few podcasts and listen to them. Another option is to go to the Central Library. It got refurbished last year and there is tonnes to do in there that can pass the time. Sign up for a card and go on the internet or just read some books. I was never into books but since I have more time nowadays (as the gambling disappears) I actually enjoy reading. I don't do fiction so I stick to autobiographys etc. If it's a nice day then walk the length of the canal from near Sackville Gardens / Canal Street right down through Castlefield which takes you to Old Trafford. Keep the faith.

Hi guys

Nothing new to report other then another gamble free weekend, I know it may sound boring but being boring is better then losing hundreds of pounds on the FOBT's and that horrible gut wrenching feeling that you have when you are desperately trying to sleep at 3:00 am but can't.

Hello Paul
Just read all of your diary it was like reading my own story of the last year. Inspiring stuff pal keep it up, I was thinking my weekend was a bit boring but blowing a fortune at a FOBT and destroying relationships is no way of easing boredom, hope to get where you are soon
