This quote is really resonating with me at the moment:
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
I have been suffering from gambling addiction for what feels like a life time now and my nemesis is the roulette machine.
I have lost some more money today, I feel awful, hopeless, but I want to stop as it is destroying my life. It makes me feel anxious, my head is constantly spinning, i'm losing time, i'm stressed, my self esteem is incredibly low.
I have to be honest with myself now and do what I can to beat this.
I don't really know what else to say but...
Tomorrow shall be day one of not gambling but I aim to start from now.

Hi changing man,
Welcome to the forum, where believe me you are not on your own, we all understand, and that quote is sooo very true,.but is not insanity ( even though it feels like it ) it is this horrible, hideous addiction, that takes over our lives and most important our rational mindset when in the grip, and in oblivion with it.
You can break away from this cycle, you really can if you really want to.
I am going to suggest you read two very inspiring diaries on here from duncanmac and day@time, They are very inspirational
There diaries are so unique and like chalk and cheese to each other's, but they have so much in common in what really matters,
and it is recovery, for themselves and for everyone else that wants to learn from their experiences.
It really is taking one day at a time with everything, and being kind to ourselves,
Nothing changes if nothing changes my friend, as Duncs(Duncunmac) says the outcome will always be the same.
One breath, one step, one day at a time, gives us the strength to keep moving forwards ( as day@time ) says, and these just two quotes are soo very true.
Also your triangle has to be totally broken
TIME
MONEY
LOCATION.
Take one of these away and it's impossible to play,
We cannot win because we cannot stop,
It's your time to win for real now,
Welcome aboard again, and I wish you the very best on your start on this amazing recovery journey, and I will look out for your posts.
Take care and be kind to you.
Suzanne xx
