Hi Christer1, Thanks for the post on my diary, looking in to excluding now.
Well done on 2 weeks GF, and well done for getting straight back on here after a relapse, its not easy but will be great in the long run
Keep up the good work
James
Day 28 once again this is feeling good I won't speak to soon
Hey Christer, I had a read through your diary and it certainly seems to have been a rollercoaster for you is it so often is with people like us.
Awesome work on 2 days now but your last post left me wondering something. You say "don't speak to soon" but this seems to be leaving the door open slightly. What current blocks do you have in place to stop you from gambling?
Hope you're doing well
Blocks I have now is I have self excluded from all bookies in 50 mile radius and self excluded from all online company's I can't do any more I don't believe in the mobile software to stop it cause heard so many bad things bout it in spring I will join Gamstop in their online multi self exclusion scheme. I have lapsed but I'm quick to start again
Sorry I also meant when saying don't speak to soon I meant is I take each day as it comes
Day 40 another hurdle achieved
Well I'm up to 59 today gf again still enjoying life. The multi self exclusion bookies has really. Even all online I'm self excluded from it takes time to do but worth doing
Well done on 59 days, the days are really racking up.
Keep at it and make sure you enter 2018 as GF.
Thankyou 60 in counting gfree days I'm still taking each day as it comes but thankyou muststop
Congratulations Christer on 2 months gamble free. Thank you for the support you have given me during my journey.
Wishing you well as we keep going forward...stephen
Great to see your good progress Christer.73 days gamble free is a big achievement and you are determined to carry it on.
The days soon pass us by, 8 days already for me. I am really going for it this time. Having learnt from my mistakes I am not going to give in again. Take care, wishing you well...stephen
Surprise surprise I've let myself down again I found a online sports betting firm which I had a bet and lost but not that much but once again I'm back to zero and have that horrible failure feeling inside me again
Truly sorry to read of your slip Christer. I know it can be demoralizing to find ourselves back at day one. Sadly the temptation is sometimes there to continue gambling until everything is lost, maybe we are simply punishing ourselves for some strange reason. I really have no idea why we do it time after time. It is so sad and my heart goes out to you.
It's good that your back here with your friends, at least we all understand what your up against.
Take care my friend. Keep trying and never give up hope...stephen
Hi Christer, don't worry about the slip we all have them. Keep up the fight.
Wilsy
Thankyou you two this is why I feel it's important to be honest to people and when I relapse I have friends here who understand thankyou
