Make plans for the money you are going to get on payday. I find it a easier to ignore gambling urges when I know my money is set aside for a particular expense.

So the end of a terrible couple of days going to have to dig deep and buckle up to make it to pay day day .one thing at a time. When I get paid ill transfer it all to my parents and just borrow small amounts back to live on.

Welcome to the club, I buy a months travel ticket every payday, even when I have a week off during the month and I am away travelling elsewhere for some of the days costs me more in long run. I know not to trust myself.

Need to come to terms with my predicament. I'm not bad off financially I have a job and somewhere nice to live and money to spend just need to not gamble it away a small price to pay. If only I was sensible none of my friends have a problem why do I ?

Hi Adam,

Might be reasonable not to give up all your "vices" at once. That is a huge amount to take on.

Concentrate on the gambling only and perhaps cut down initially on the other 2.

Just a thought.

Best wishes
