Well Im on recovery road. It has been a while and things are going well. Gamble free since beginning of December. Feel strong and quietly hopeful for the future. I have had very little or no urges (due to my religious beliefs). I feel and hope that this is the corner where I turn and walk down the right road for the time I have left here. There is a lot of mending to be done. A lot of economy to sort out. But Im already rich because i don´t gamble. And I believe I can move on. :0)
My message is never give up. Never stop trying. I have a school friend (we go years back) who decided not to die of his cancer. He was written of by doctors after a year. This is six years ago and hes still here. If he can keep things at bay and stay alive for his kid. I am sure you wont be doing anything less to keep your addiction at bay. We all have a chance. We just have to decide take it.
